Thanks to the international break, Mark Robins has the chance to do something at Barnsley that hasn’t been done there since November 2008.

Providing that Jason Shackell recovers from the injury that forced him off the field in the victory over Middlesbrough, Robins will be in a position to name the same starting eleven for a fourth time in a row.

The 2-0 defeat of promotion favourites Middlesbrough saw Robins name the same side for a third time in a row, something that Barnsley only last did in April 2009, with the same starting eleven taking to the field to face Derby County, then Nottingham Forest and then Sheffield United.

Hopefully, if Robins can name an unchanged side again it will follow a similar pattern to the last time we did this four times, which started with a home win by one goal, followed by a draw at Bristol City (sound familiar?), another win to nil and then a 3-1 win away at Charlton Athletic. Perhaps history will repeat itself in some form at Carrow Road this Saturday?
