Trailing 3-0 at half time, Barnsley’s reserves staged a brave fightback against Huddersfield with two goals from youngster Jamil Adam.

Broadbent, Hunt and Atkinson sent the Terriers into a 3-0 lead.

However, a second half brace from Jamil Adam wasn’t enough for the young Reds outfit.

Here’s how the Red’s second string lined up last night:

Letheren, Grundy (Bennett 71), Potter, Branson, Atkinson, Crapper (Fearnehough 71), Taylor, Butterfield, Adam, Noble-Lazarus, El-Haimour (Mellor 65).
Unused subs: Free, Scargill.
