Barnsley once again drew a game but we left it very, very late to secure something against Peterborough on Saturday at Oakwell when we equalised deep into injury-time!

I don’t think that anyone can now say that we’re not ‘hard to beat’ as we are, once again we proved this, as we ended another game without defeat but also one that ended in a draw after the last goal in this one-one draw.

A failure for Cowgill to clear allowed Peterborough a chance, which Washington (16) took to give the visitors an early lead that was gratefully taken.

It can’t be said that we didn’t have chances to draw level, at least, as we did but when Hourihane managed to miss an open goal and Berry also failed to hit the target with a good chance it looked like defeat, for only the third time under Lee Johnson who was giving players a chance on Saturday it must also be said, would be the outcome.

Ntlhe getting his second yellow card, for a challenge on Scowen, and reducing Peterborough to 10-men gave us a chance, and Hourihane made amends for his miss with it his corner that was headed home by Berry (90+5) for a dramatic equaliser.

It’s the sheer volume of draws that we’ve seen in recent weeks that mean we’ll miss the play-offs in the end, although real facts of the matter are that the majority of the first half of the season is what did for these chances really!
