Barnsley remain unbeaten under Lee Johnson, and we came from behind to secure a point against Preston, but the draw at Oakwell on Saturday means that we remain just outside of the play-off places after successive defeats.

A late equaliser meant that we extended our unbeaten run to eight-matches but this one-one draw meant the last two have ended in draw with Preston, unbeaten in 10 now, moving into a strong position for automatic promotion as they moved three-points clear of third placed Swindon.

Preston were given a first half lead when Garner (37) was left with a simple tap in, strikers of his goalscoring ability don’t miss these, to open the scoring as half time approached.

Cameron Stewart was brought in on loan ahead of this and could, maybe should, have equalised but he couldn’t covert from fellow loanee John’s cross but with time running out Ibehre (79) headed home a Holgate cross from close range for his first goal for us and to earn us a point.
