Tom Bradshaw wouldn’t be too likely to remain with Walsall into next season but where he ends up next is still unclear. Barnsley are one of those looking to sign him.

According to recent reports a £350,000 bid has been rejected.

Barnsley could improve the offer to Walsall but with Rotherham, Nottingham Forest and Reading also interested in Bradshaw there’s plenty of competition for the Welsh international.

The Yorkshire Post has pointed out that with Rotherham appointing former Hibernian boss Alan Stubbs recently this could sway him the way of the Millers especially as Andy Holden has become a first-team coach at the New York Stadium.

Holden has nurtured the talents of Francis Jeffers, Leon Osman, Jack Rodwell, Michael Ball, Tony Hibbert, Victor Anichebe and Wayne Rooney when at Everton and we know how they turned out so it is thought that could appeal to him?

The reality is that probably isn’t going to make too much difference with Bradshaw heading to the club he best feels will bring him success.

If that’s Oakwell remains to be seen but with almost £1m reportedly wanted perhaps not?
