According to Manchester City’s official website, young winger Kieran Trippier has joined Barnsley on a one month loan deal today from City.
The 19 year old winger will be in contention straight away for a place against Middlesbrough tonight at the Riverside.
Capped at England U18 and U19 level, Trippier won the F.A. Youth Cup in 2008 with Man City and impressed in their friendly at the Nou Camp against Barcelona.
He should provide healthy competition for Adam Hammill on both flanks at Barnsley.
