Barnsley remained in the play-off chasing pack following the 3-2 weekend victory over current pace setters Watford.

Watford might have fought back from 2-0 down but Barnsley were not to be denied and a horrible error by Watford keeper Richard Lee gifted Barnsley they 3 points which leaves them just one place and one point behind Bristol City in sixth place, who are also level with Plymouth and Wolves in fourth and fifth places respectively.

Tuesday night sees a visit to improving Sheffield Wednesday for a Yorkshire derby, with the Barnsley ticket allocation of 4,900 almost completely sold out. A victory for either side leaves them either possibly in the play-off places, in Barnsley case, or right back in the hunt, as far as Wednesday go.
