Barnsley have added another team to play in their pre-season fixtures, the Chengdu Blades.

The Chinese side will arrive at Oakwell on August 2nd for a 3pm kick off- ticketing arrangements yet to be confirmed.

Former Everton and Sheff Utd midfielder Li Tie is expected to line-up against the Tykes, as well as highly respected attacker, Wan Song.

  • Bit of a weird once, must be on a tour of England as part of the deal with Sheff Utd. Didn’t know Lie Tie was there now.

  • Any idea what the price is likely to be chaps, as it is a ground my lad has not been to, and this seems a good chance to tick another one off the list?

  • probably a fiver for kids – tenner for adults. thats what it was last year. but – with the new “stronger together” campaign – it might, and i say might, be a little bit cheaper.
