Barnsley entertain Aston Villa tonight at Oakwell hoping to return to winning ways following two successive defeats.

Villa have failed to win on the road so far this season but we all know that stats like that mean nothing in the Championship. And despite failing to win away, Villa have only lost two away league games and drawn four.

The clash between the two sides will be the first in over 18 years. That was in the 1997-98 season when Villa ran out 3 – 0 winners at Oakwell with Barnsley securing a 1 – 0 win at Villa Park thanks to an Ashley Ward goal.

That victory remains Barnsley`s one and only against Aston Villa.

Reds head coach Paul Heckingbottom could be tempted to freshen things up in all areas of the pitch following two defeats.

Villa will be without Ritchie De Laet who is out with a knee injury.

Reds fans lets have your predictions for this one. Can we bounce back to winning ways or will Villa finally start to show their Premier League class?

I`m expecting a tight affair and I`m going to predict a 1 – 1 draw.
