Barnsley entertain Burnley in the FA cup third round as the search for a new manager continues.

Vital Quotes: Oldtimetyke

What are the club playing at? No manager appointed yet! Why do we take so long to get things sorted at Oakwell?

Barnsley Team News:

Marcus Tudgay has returned to Nottingham Forest after his loan expired on the 3rd. The club were hoping to extend his loan but a broken collarbone means he will be out for 6 – 8 weeks.

Craig Davies is currently in talks with Bolton and could be left out so that any proposed deal doesn`t come under threat.

Temporary boss Flitcroft will be hoping to have some reinforcements available again in the attacking third but the likes of Mellis are still doubtful.

Player to watch: Luke Steele

Expect the Barnsley keeper to be busy.

Burnley Team News:

Burnley striker Charlie Austin is likely to miss the game so that gives the reds half a chance.

Player to watch: Sam Vokes

Chance to shine with Austin injured.

Line Up & Formation

What line up and formation do you think Flitcroft will go for? Having missed the Peterborough game myself I am told he shuffled from 5-3-2 and 4-4-2 with neither system paying off and the team lacking any attacking threat.

I am led to believe he will start with wing backs as he feels it`s the way forward with the squad he has available. The personal is set to change though. I am told the line-up could look like this.

Steele; Cranie, Foster, Kennedy; Stones, O`Brien, Dawson, Perkins, Goldbourne; Dagnall, Harerwood.

Ref Watch:

Paul Tierney is the man in charge.

Match Prediction:

All I can see is another defeat. I`m going 2 – 1 to Burnley.

Next Match:

The big one at home to Leeds back in Championship action. Let`s hope and pray we have a manager in by then.

It’s the FA cup so anything can happen, but I,m very concerned about the home form (I know the away form isn’t that great), but I’d be more confident if it was an away game.

Probably be a draw tomorrow, but any win would be welcome, boring 1-0 would do!

It would do for me too, infact it would be amazing. I’d take it and it’d be nice to get a clean sheet too.

Absolutely Chief, but we’re in the realms of fantasy now I think, but stranger things have happened..?
