Barnsley will be hoping to rediscover their early season form when they entertain high flying Newcastle tonight at Oakwell.

The reds are now on a run of five games without a win which includes four defeats in that sequence. While Newcastle have lost only once on their travels so far this season, this was on the opening day at Fulham.

The reds are looking to end a run of 10 games without a win against Newcastle. The last time that Barnsley recorded a victory against Newcastle was in a 1 – 0 win in December 1992.

The reds are still without Aidy White so Cole Kpekawa is expected to continue at left back. Saidy Janko is still struggling with a thigh problem but Ryan Williams is pushing for a place on the bench.

Josh Scowen will be suspended for the reds following his debatable sending off against Fulham. Reds fans will be hoping that Conor Hourihane is fit again for this one otherwise it will mean someone operating out of position in midfield alongside Morsy.

Rolando Aarons remains out for Newcastle and this game is also likely to be too soon to see the return of Rob Elliot or Massadio Haidara. Daryl Murphy is also touch and go for this one.

Reds fans lets have your predictions for this one. I`m not usually negative when it comes to predictions but I can`t see anything other than us getting hammered today. I`m going 4 – 0 to Newcastle but think they could get even more given our injury and suspension problems.
