On loan goalkeeper Jack Butland believes that playing for Barnsley will give him a good chance of being selected for the world cup in Brazil next year.

Butland is convinced that regular football, even at Championship level could mean he forces his way in to the England squad as one of the back-up keepers to Joe Hart.

I think he is certainly one for the future but at this moment in time the England boss is likely to be looking at keepers playing in the top flight such as Foster, Ruddy and Forster in Scotland.

He could take him however as number three goalkeeper to give him the experience of a major tournament as England will also have one eye on the future.
