Jacob Butterfield has signed for Crystal Palace on a month`s loan from Norwich.

I don`t know if Barnsley were in for him this time but the chance has gone again at least for month.

Flicker has other priorities at this moment in time with a striker the top priority.

  • Unfortunately, he (or his agent) ignored Keith Hills sound advice to ‘hang on for one more season’, so now he’s learning a hard lesson – learn to walk before trying to run, he’s probably feeling a bit unwanted at the moment, but this kind of thing will either make him, or break him..?

  • Yep, young players are just too greedy these days and think more about their pockets than careers. He could have been really good with a year or two at Oakwell. And as for the question you pose my personal opinion is it will break him. Look at Adam Hammill for a prime example.
