I don`t know if Barnsley were in for him this time but the chance has gone again at least for month.

Yep, young players are just too greedy these days and think more about their pockets than careers. He could have been really good with a year or two at Oakwell. And as for the question you pose my personal opinion is it will break him. Look at Adam Hammill for a prime example.
