Barnsley’s Michael Coulson has joined Chester City in an emergency loan deal.

The young striker joins the Conference side for 28 days and will get some first team football and hopefully a few goals under his built as he makes his bid to break back into the first team after his latest injury lay off.

Coulson has made 25 appearances for the Reds and most notably played a part in their famous F.A. Cup run in 2008, scoring the winner in the 3rd Round victory over Blackpool at Oakwell. He also made an appearance as a substitute in the Reds’ famous 1-0 victory over Chelsea in the Quarter Final.
