Barnsley have confirmed the signing of 20 year old defensive midfielder Sessi D`Almeida on a two year deal.

D`Almeida came through the ranks at French club Bordeaux. He made his first team debut for them in a Europa League tie against Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2013.

In 2015 he was signed by Paris Saint-Germain but he could only force his way in to their B team.

He will now compete with Scowen and Hourihane for a place in the Barnsley midfield.

On paper it looks like a good signing and hopefully it will prove to be the case.

I`d still like us to bring in at least five more players now that we have the Stones money.

A goalkeeper, centre back, left back, winger and a striker should be enough to make us a competitive Championship squad.

Where do other reds fans think we need to strengthen?
