Barnsley striker Craig Davies gave the reds a much needed boost by returning to training on Monday.

Barnsley have been severely lacking a cutting edge up front in Davies` absence and have suffered four defeats in their last four games.

Davies has returned ahead of schedule but boss Keith Hill says he will not risk the striker unless he is fully fit as he does not want risk another injury.

Barnsley are still hopeful of bringing a striker in before the weekend. The number one target is Man City youngster Alex Nimely.

It would be a real boost if Barnsley could get both available for Saturday`s trip to Bolton but I think Keith Hill would happily settle for one.
