Goalkeeper Adam Davies has today put pen to paper on a new two year deal with Barnsley.

The 22 year old made his breakthrough in 2014-15, enjoying a good campaign and taking in 25 appearances across all competitions and manager Lee Johnson wanted to secure his services for the immediate future and an offer of a two year deal has now been agreed upon.

In 2014-15 he kept ten clean sheets after moving to us from Sheffield Wednesday.

Speaking to the Official Site after the deal was done, he explained.

‘I’m really happy to have signed a new deal. I’m really settled here and feel I’ve improved my game last season. I want to kick on now and, hopefully, next season we can push on for promotion.’
