Deadline Day Action

Collins has been released and frees up the reds to bring in other players. More could follow if deals can be agreed with the players who aren`t even close to making the bench.

Edwards is one I would look to release as he won`t play again for Barnsley again this season then we can try and bring in the top class centre half we need.

Stones looks set for Wigan. I can`t see him turning down whatever deal they put on the table so if he does go I`d like him back on loan for the rest of the season. Ideally I would like him to think about his career more than his pocket and decide it would be best served at Barnsley but you can`t blame him if he does go.

Steele is still at the club and it is important that it stays this way by the end of the day if we are to have a chance of staying up. Southampton are rumoured to be interested and Stoke could be poised if Butland turns them down.

With O`Grady likely to come in we should have enough fire power up front for the rest of the season. Ok none of the strikers really catch the imagination but we are not going to attract the type of striker that the fans want.

I`ve been very impresses with the performances of Dagnall and Harewood since Flicker took over. I like the look of young Rose too and you couldn`t ask for much more from Scotland on his debut.

Rory Delap looks likely to come in to add experience to the midfield area which could do with another body with Dawson out injured.

So keep Steele and get a centre half and I will be reasonably happy.

We have a ready-made replacement for Stones at right wing back in Wiseman. Wing back in my opinion would be Wiseman`s best position so if Stones does go the fans need to stay off the back of Wiseman.

Flicker will pick Wiseman there and if the fans get on his back it will affect him and the fans treatment of Wiseman could end up being the deciding factor in whether we stay up or not.

In this together every one of us and get behind the super reds.

Anyone heard any other rumours or anyone you would like to see come through the door at Oakwell?
