With fellow young goalkeeper George Maris having been allowed to leave the other day for a loan spell for experience, fellow young stopper Christian Dibble has now signed an extension with Chelmsford City.

The Welsh Under 21 international headed to Chelmsford back at the end of August, and in his time with them so far he has apparently taken in six appearances for them and given it looks likely he will keep the No 1 shirt for a while yet, both clubs have agreed to a two month extension to his initial deal.

His spell with them will now expire on November 28 and hopefully he’ll come back with good double figure appearances under him.

Since coming through Bury’s ranks before making the move to Oakwell, Dibble has also spent time out on loan with Nuneaton Town and from the available stats and a bit of maths in my head, I make it that he has 16 appearances under his belt so far.
