After making just 4 first team appearances since his summer move from Brighton, Liam Dickinson has made a loan move to Walsall from Barnsley.

The young striker was picked up for a nominal fee in the close season by Mark Robins but has found it difficult to break into the first team at Oakwell, despite Barnsley struggling for goals this season.

The former Leeds United hitman joins fellow Reds player Martin Devaney at the Bescot Stadium and former Reds striker Jonathan Macken in an attempt to lift Walsall off the foot of the League 1 table.
