Barnsley boss David Flitcroft has admitted he got his team selection wrong at Burnley.

The Barnsley boss started with a 4-3-3 which saw Harewood through the middle flanked by Dagnall on the right and O`Grady on the left.

He admitted that the system didn`t work and seemed to be critical of himself for that.

For me it is going to be difficult for the manager to find the right system and he needs to try things to know if they will come off so I don`t think he should be too harsh on himself.

One thing that has impressed me is that when things aren`t working he is willing to changes things as he did at half time against Burnley and at home to Bolton where the Etuhu and Cywka wing backs experiment didn`t pay off.

I have confidence that Flicker will discover that winning formula again and find the right system for the players he has available.

After the Burnley game he spoke of impact O`Grady made when he moved up front after Harewood made way at half time.

I have nothing against O`Grady but I did think the Harewood – Dagnall partnership was working well and I saw no reason to change this. I liked what they were doing from the start of games and that then allowed the fresh legs of Scotland, who is the most likely to score, and O`Grady to come on and make an impact.

Reading between the lines from the Flicker interview that I heard it seems to me that O`Grady and Dagnall will be the starting partnership going forward. Who would you pick as your starting pair up front?
