Barnsley boss David Flitcroft is impressed with Kelvin Etuhu`s new lease of life as a central midfielder.

The Barnsley boss has said that Etuhu will be allowed to make mistakes as he is new to the role and making mistakes is the best way to learn.

It is a philosophy that Flicker also holds in his personal life as well as his football life.

Flicker believes once Etuhu has got around 100 Championship games under his belt in central midfield that he could become one of the best in the league.

The big man has all of the right ingredients to be able to play there despite spending most of his career as a winger.

Flicker has certainly got the best out of him and the form he has showed has meant that the reds didn`t have to go in to the transfer market as they first thought once Dawson was injured.
