In an article in the Sheffield Star the Gaffer has thanked the fans for buying into the relegation battle.

“The fans have joined the adventure, There`s a feelgood factor in the stadium. The atmosphere is pumped and it`s rocking. It`s an atmosphere you want to be a part of. It`s a bit of Russ Abbott.”
“The positivity around the place is phenomenal. It`s a movement, and that movement is getting more powerful by each performance.”
“As a group of people they [the players] are strong. They`ve come so far they don`t want to let anyone down.”
“It`s a galvanized unit. It`s a unit that`s not fragmented and is united in one belief. That`s a movement that`s going to be difficult to stop.”

I have total admiration to the way in which he has gone about the role, I know people who have returned to Oakwell to see the Flitcroft Brand of football. I do feel that Mickey Mellon and Martin Scott have added a lot to the Brand!
