Barnsley boss David Flitcroft has admitted he would like to sign striker Matty Fryatt on loan.

Fryatt is a proven championship striker that Flicker is looking for and the need for striking reinforcements has increased with Pedersen out injured for a couple of weeks.

The reds boss is hoping to negotiate a short term loan that could possibly be extended depending on how well he does and how Pedersen is when he returns to fitness.

I really hope that the reds can pull this one off but I do get the feeling that if they do then the length of the loan does depend on how many of the squad players can be loaned out.
