Gray to Leeds

Former Barnsley striker Andy Gray has signed for old club Leeds United after being released by the reds this summer.

Barnsley decided not to offer Gray a new contract when his deal expired in July as his best days are clearly behind him.

I fully expected Gray to drop down the leagues but Leeds have taken a punt on the experienced front man who’s Championship days are clearly behind him.

Leeds’ loss will be the rest of the leagues gain, inparticular if they are to start with Gray as they would be virtually playing with 10 men.

I wish Andy Gray all the success in the world as he comes across as a decent bloke and a model pro. But I can’t believe he has landed himself another Championship club. And one who so called Premiership aspirations.

Leeds United showing what a forward thinking outfit they are!

I think it must be the surname that leeds signed him for.

Andy is not to be mistaken for Frank or Eddie.
