According to Sky Sports, Barnsley have accepted a bid from Blackpool for their winger Adam Hammill.

The scouser’s future at Oakwell has been in increasing doubt as the transfer window has progressed, with interest from a host of other Premier League clubs.

Sky Sports reported that Hammill ‘has a release clause in his contract which enables him to leave for just £500,000’ and that ‘Blackpool have triggered that option and hope to beat the likes of Wolves, Birmingham and Nottingham Forest to his signature.’

Meanwhile Hammill is still at 9’s to open the scoring at the KC Stadium on Saturday when the Reds face Hull City.
