According to Sky Sports, Premier League outfit Blackpool have tabled a bid for Adam Hammill.

The winger has already scored eight goals for the Reds this term and has been attracting interest from Premier League clubs for quite some time now with some scintillating performances in the Championship.

Reds boss, Mark Robins, has made no secret of his desire to keep Hammill, but with rumours rife of a release clause in his contract, it may just be a question of where Hammill wants to go.

While it is true that first team opportunities at Everton and Bolton Wanderers (other clubs purported to be interested in the winger) may be limited, a switch to Blackpool may be ideal for the 22-year-old, who has stated his intention of playing Premier League football, something his previous club Liverpool denied him.

With or without a release clause in his contract, Barnsley are going to face a tough month trying to keep hold of the starlet, with more offers certain to roll in as the transfer window remains open.
