Barnsley boss Keith Hill is looking to the loan market in a bid to bring in reinforcements before this weekend`s fixture with Nottingham Forest.

With Craig Davies out injured Hill is desperate to bring in a striker as the others at the club just aren`t cutting it at the moment.

The reds looked toothless up top against Palace on Tuesday and Hill feels that the current crop are not up to the task.

Mido is still way off being fit enough to press for a first team place. Dagnall you can`t fault for effort and how he has played so far this season but never seems likely to score. Harewood, despite a slightly better performance from him the other night, is still way off the standard that Hill and the fans are looking for.

There are youngsters such as Rose who came on against Palace. But he and some of the others just aren`t ready yet.

I agree with Hill and a striker has got to be a priority in the absence of Davies.
