Barnsley boss Keith Hill has praised Reuben Noble-Lazarus for the way he has forced his way in to the first team picture at Oakwell.

Only a few months ago Hill was considering loaning out the young forward as his progress seemed to have halted and others had rose above him in the first team pecking order.

After a talk between the two, Noble-Lazarus knuckled down and with hard work and belief clawed his way back in to Hill`s thinking.

Barnsley boss Keith Hill doesn`t recall seeing a player work so hard and so determined to prove he has what it takes.

Credit to the lad, hopefully he can go from strength to strength. His attitude has been spot on and it`s not often seen from young professionals in the modern game.
