Barnsley’s Andy Yiadom is on his way to the Premier League as Huddersfield are understood to have agreed a fee with the Reds.

Sky Sports reports ‘Yiadom is undergoing a medical ahead of a proposed move to Huddersfield’ after they ‘struck a deal with the Sky Bet Championship side on Wednesday.’

Barnsley have so far turned down a couple of bids from Huddersfield but due to the fact Yiadom, 25, hasn’t signed a new deal, having moved into the final year of his two year contract signed last summer when arriving from Barnet last summer an exit is likely sooner or later… apparently sooner.

The twice capped Ghana international, who continues his incredible rise from non-league to the highest level, has been linked with Swansea too but now appears set for the John Smith’s Stadium.
