Shortly ahead of the game on Saturday Cameron Stewart, formerly a youngster with Man United and Hull after this, was confirmed as having arrived at Oakwell on loan from Ipswich.

The loss of John O’Sullivan, who will now return to Blackburn following the draw on Saturday, is a void that we filled before he even left as the 23-year-old winger had already joined us on loan until the end of the season.

Stewart arrived in time to make his debut in our one-one draw with Preston (Click Here) yesterday, not only did he make the squad he was in the starting XI and could have, maybe should have, marked his debut with a goal!

A successful spell with Hull saw him lose his way somewhat when they went into the Premier League, injuries haven’t helped either, and he’s since had spells with Burnley, Blackburn and Charlton while he had a brief spell with Leeds before he made the move to Portman Road to sign for Ipswich.

We’ll all be hoping that we can see the best of him between now and the end of the season as he boosts our play-off hopes, we then see what happens in the summer?
