With Barnsley in a dip and without a League One win in four attempts, we go into the Fleetwood Town game this weekend looking to address that and in his pre game press conference, he said he wasn’t yet fearing for his job despite our run of form.

With pre match duties out of the way now, the BBC have the gaffer quoted as saying that he’s still planning for the future with the club and he hopes and expects to be with us for a long time, as although we have our struggles at the minute, he believes in the quality of the group and just thinks we are in one of those spells that we will soon come out of.

‘I love this place. I hope I am going to be here for a long time because I want to deliver what everyone wants. I don’t have any fears because of the way football is.’

Johnson does admit though that he’s made mistakes this year, but every manager does, just as every player does, but what it’s about is learning from them and of course with his age he’s still relatively new to the management game – but with some decisions costing us points, he believes others will have won us them.

‘I’ve made mistakes this year and possibly cost us a few points through some tactical decisions but I think I have won us games through some other ones. I’m as frustrated as anyone but I still massively believe in the group.’

The Yorkshire Post also have him from the same interview saying that there would be a ‘recruitment meeting’ today to look at options in the loan market given the injuries we have suffered of late.

‘We have a recruitment meeting today, Patrick (Cryne) is in. We are going to talk to Patrick, give our advice and guidance. Patrick has been great, always been supportive and he continues to be supportive. I am sure if we ask for something, he will produce. But we don`t want to get it wrong. We are all frustrated. I speak to Patrick pretty much every day, on average every two days. We are in touch, communication lines are very good.’
