Barnsley are in Johnstone’s Paint Trophy action against Fleetwood at Oakwell on Saturday with this a 3pm kick-off.

Two-legs stand between Barnsley and Fleetwood and a place in the final of the JPT with the Reds looking to make the most of home advantage in the first leg.

Lee Johnson will have new Man United loanee signing Ashley Fletcher in the squad with the striker likely to make his debut, if he wouldn’t be involved why bring him in for a month! Fellow United loanee Ben Pearson has returned to Old Trafford but Aidy White has signed a permanent deal with the Reds after his release by Rotherham.

Scowen (knee) could be back from a long-term injury next month with Lewin Nyatanga, Marc Roberts and James Bree all looking for involvement.

Fleetwood will be missing Everton loanee David Henen (ankle) with Ash Hunter, Bobby Grant and Jamie Proctor expected to feature. Reading loanee Tariqe Fosu is back with his parent club so misses out as will David Ball (hamstring) due to injury.

The Reds will hope for a positive result, to boost the chances of progress into the overall final of the JPT, but will this happen? A win from this first leg will help!

Whatever the line up expectancy will be high of at least one more tie, and ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which obviously requires you to vote in the latest poll one of three ways….

Barnsley win
Fleetwood win

Not only do we want you to cast your vote, which you do to your right, we’re also looking for your thoughts and views too so do share some of those with your comments below.
