Key Players Back

Barnsley boss David Flitcroft is hopeful of having key players back for the crucial run in.

Kelvin Etuhu should be fit to face Nottingham Forest while Tom Kennedy will return from suspension.

Bobby Hassell could be out after going off injured against Derby. Although it pains me to say this I don`t think that is such a bad thing as the legs have been well and truly gone these last two games and the defence overall looked a lot tighter once the change was made.

Barnsley will have to win two of their remaining three games to stay in the Championship. The odds will certainly be stacked against the reds with the fixtures we have remaining but anything is possible.

Away at Forest is a tough one. Forest have had a great run followed by a couple of poor results so will be looking to get back to winning ways to mount their play-off challenge.

I`m hoping Hull City could already be promoted by the time we play them and may have their minds elsewhere.

If Barnsley could win one of those games it could leave a dramatic final day winner takes all trip to Huddersfield. Lots of ifs and buts I know but whatever the outcome I have only admiration for the job David Flitcroft has done and for the way this group of players have performed this season

I’m preparing for the worst to be honest, I was hoping Hull would have beaten Bristol on Friday, but they blew the chance and now will have a lot to play for on Saturday..(unless Leicester can beat Watford on Friday night), so ‘IF’ it goes to the last game against Huddersfield, then we’ll need as much luck as we had against Forest, to maintain our status in the Championship..?

If we do go down, I just hope the board stick with DF and if we can hold on the most of the players, we could have half a chance of coming back up..?

i agree as regards the management and players.its such a strange league, who would have said we would be unbeaten away,at palace, cardiff and forest, yet only take 1 point from charlton and derby at home? weird isnt the word !!! i believe that if we can take it to the last game, then we will survive, fingers and everything else crossed !!!
