Barnsley are, of course, despite the setback against Fleetwood still in the play-off hunt but defeat following the Swindon one now makes it back-to-back setbacks with our great home run also ending….

After four straight wins at Oakwell we went into the game on Tuesday in high spirits, an early lead improved that mood but in the end it was Fleetwood that came from behind to win two-one.

Having only ‘parried’ Hourihane’s freekick, Fleetwood ‘keeper Maxwell was beaten by the follow up from Ramage (5) with the Crystal Palace loanee firing in his third goal for us on five-minutes.

Another defender soon brought Fleetwood level with McLaughlin (14) equalising within 10-minutes when he crashed an effort into the top corner to make it one-one, shortly past the half hour Fleetwood went ahead when Haughton’s cross was finished off by McAlinden (33) to give the visitors a two-one half time lead.

Hemmings should have earned us a point in the second half but couldn’t get anything onto Smith’s cross as our winning run at home ended….

Following this game, as is customary of course, attention now turns to the MotM for us – who you think this was?

Select the name that you want from the list in the poll to your right, but why not also share your thoughts with us on your thinking for that person, and this latest game itself, with some views….
