With the return of Danny Wilson as Barnsley manager I feel that it is important for Barnsley fans to keep their feet on the ground.

I think the appointment is a fantastic one and I am certain he will be a success yet again but it is how the fans measure that success that is a worry.

It is still a mammoth task to keep us in the division yet some fans are already dreaming of challenging for promotion to the Premier League again.

Times have changed from the last time Wilson was at Oakwell and what he achieved won`t be repeated barring some billionaire taking over the club.

The return of Wilson doesn`t magically solve all of the problems at the club, nor does it mean that average players will become superstars.

We need to remember what he has to work with this time round. He needs time and patience and if we do go down he needs to be backed by the club and the fans.

This appointment has given us a life line and the possibility of staying up but we are in a position where even a good run until the end of the season could still see us relegated.
