The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Bradford City this Tuesday.

Barnsley travel to Bradford City on Tuesday January 26 for the game at Valley Parade and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: Simon Hooper
Linesmen: Simon Clayton and James Bell
Fourth Official: Paul Graham

Match Day referee Hooper (Wiltshire) has officiated one Barnsley game this season – the Capital One Cup five three loss to Everton. In that game he showed three yellow cards, all the Barnsley.

He has however already taken in 29 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 70 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Brighton and Hull on September 12 with a total of five yellows being shown. He also showed five yellows in the match between Charlton and Preston and then Brentford and Queens Park Rangers in October.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
