The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Bury this weekend.

Barnsley host Bury on Sunday February 7 for the game at Oakwell and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Andy Haines
Linesmen: Philip Dermott and Paul Thompson
Fourth Official: Richard Wigglesworth

Match Day referee Haines (Tyne and Wear) has officiated one Barnsley game this season – the one nil loss to Altrincham back in November’s FA Cup tie. In that game he showed three yellow cards, one to Barnsley.

He has however already taken in eighteen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 53 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Scunthorpe and Coventry on September 12 with a total of six yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
