The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Crewe Alexandra this weekend.

Barnsley travel to Crewe Alexandra on Saturday February 27 for the game at Gresty Road and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Seb Stockbridge
Linesmen: Robert Atkin and Barry Cropp
Fourth Official: James Mainwaring

Match Day referee Stockbridge (Tyne) has officiated one Barnsley game this season.

He has however already taken in 22 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 73 yellow cards and four red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Carlisle and Chesterfield on August 11 with a total of five yellows being shown and one red. He also handed out six yellow cards in the games between Fleetwood and Port Vale and Rochdale and Shrewsbury – both in September. Six also appeared in December between Grimsby and Shrewsbury.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
