The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Peterborough United this Tuesday.

Barnsley host Peterborough United on Tuesday April 19 for the game at Oakwell and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: Michael Bull
Linesmen: Robert Massey-Ellis and Alf Greenwood
Fourth Official: Paul Hobday

Match Day referee Bull has officiated one Barnsley game this season.

He has however already taken in 20 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 64 yellow cards and seven red cards.

He has shown three yellow cards in three successive games so far, stepped up to five yellows and then cooled with one yellow but two reds – so on his way to being very card happy at this stage. He got to six yellows in the game between Newport and Wycombe in March. His most recent game, Brentford v Blackburn saw seven yellows return but this time with a red.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
