The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Rochdale this weekend.

Barnsley host Rochdale on Saturday January 23 for the game at Oakwell and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Nigel Miller
Linesmen: Richard Bartlett and Ken Haycock
Fourth Official: Wayne Grunnill

Match Day referee Miller (County Durham) is yet to officiate a Barnsley game this season.

He has however already taken in eighteen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 52 yellow cards and three red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Peterborough United and Sheffield United on August 18 with a total of seven yellows being shown. He also showed six yellows and one red in the game between Nottingham Forest and Hull City on October 3.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
