The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Scunthorpe United this Friday.

Barnsley host Scunthorpe United on Friday March 25 for the game at Oakwell and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Darren Drysdale
Linesmen: Karl Evans and Simon Clayton
Fourth Official: Mark Brown

Match Day referee Drysdale is yet to officiate a Barnsley game this season.

He has however already taken in 29 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 69 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Blackburn Rovers and Derby County on October 21 with a total of six yellows being shown. He followed that in his next game between Walsall and Gillingham with another six.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
