The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against York this midweek.

Barnsley host York City on Tuesday November 10 for the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy tie at Oakwell and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: David Webb
Linesmen: Phil Dermott and William Smallwood
Fourth Official: Christopher Akers

Match Day referee Webb (Lancashire) is yet to officiate a Barnsley game this season.

He has however already taken in fifteen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and Football divisions, he has handed out a total of 49 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Sheffield United and Bury on September 12 with a total of nine yellow cards shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
