Reports suggest that Barnsley have turned down a bid for another one of their players.

Millwall have placed a bid for defender and Captain Jim McNulty which the reds have dismissed. This follows rumours that Leicester are also poised to make a bid for the left footed centre back.

This just a few days after rejecting a Crystal Palace approach for Matt Done, shows that the reds mean business this year and are determined to keep hold of their better players.

If the offers improve then the reds will be tempted but I am pleased to see Barnsley turn down offers for players who are integral to the first team squad. It`s about time Barnsley started to sell at times and prices that were right for them and not just any offer of half decent money that they receive.
