Millwall V Barnsley: The Man In The Middle

Graham Scott of Oxfordshire will be taking charge of tonight’s fixture between Millwall and Barnsley.

Scott was promoted to the Football League’s referees list for the 2008/09 season and has gone on to referee matches as high as the Championship.

So far this season he has taken charge of 20 games in total, brandishing 68 yellow cards and 8 red cards including four in Leyton Orients F.A. Cup Second Round replay with Droylesden.

With an average of almost a red card shown every two games, expect some unpopular decisions in tonight’s game. Just don’t post any adjectives that may be considered to call Mr Scott’s integrity into question or imply bias on his part!

Scott has refereed the Reds once before, in the firecracker of a match at Ashton Gate last season, which the Reds lost 5-3.
