My Club, That No Body Wants

Sean O’Driscoll and now Terry Butcher. Two men to turn down the Oakwell club. Mark Robins also left due to what appeared to be lack of ambition.

Butch has tonight released a statement via his current club Inverness Caledonian Thistle stating ‘I was pleased that Caley Thistle gave me the opportunity to talk to Barnsley, who were excellent to deal with. But I have decided that my future lies at Inverness. We have been going extremely well to be second in the SPL, still in the Scottish Cup and with a League Cup semi-final to look forward to later this month.’

I have so many emotions running through me at the moment sadness, anger, passion and disbelief are a few that spring to mind!

So it looks like its Flicker, Mellon or Redfearn.

Who would the fans like to see turn the job down next, for me we may as well approach Mourinho or Guardiola, the answer will be the same as O’Driscoll and Butcher.

On a more serious note what do the fans think to Steve Cotterill or the man in the picture to this article??

Paddy and Don, aka Del Boy and Rodney. No infact even Del and Rodders had moments of glory!

Rather have cotterill than megson or flitcroft. Who’s that on the picture?

I’d rather have Cotterill too. I’d take Megson but you can’t give it Flicker surely.

    Steve Davis. Former Reds defender

He’s done a good job at Crewe with no money. I can’t believe no one has mentioned him.

Hate to say it fellas, but I knew Butcher wouldn’t come in…as I said previously we’ll end up with a “desperado”, as unfortunately we aren’t an attractive proposition, as a club at the moment, for me give “Redders” a go, at least he has some passion for the club!

I’m starting to think the unthinkable that they will give it to Flicker until the end of the season.
