Mathematically it’s still on but we can now safely say, especially in light of Chesterfield winning six-nil against Colchester, that Barnsley’s draw with Notts County ends any lingering play-off hopes.

A goal deep into injury-time denied us a win at Meadow Lane allowing Notts County to move up, and boost their survival hopes – remaining in the bottom four on goal-difference, but leave us focusing on a sustained League 1 promotion push next season!

Winnall’s (9) fine strike early on put us ahead, with that lead taken into half time.

In fact that lead against Ricardo Moniz’s side, with him taking charge of his first home game of Notts County, looked as if it would see us through to all three-points until Bajner (90+2) was able to get onto the end of Hayhurst’s cross to beat Davies deep into injury-time.
