No, this isn’t Andy Yiadom, well, not at the moment anyway.

According to HITC Sport, Cole Kpekawa could have played his last game for Barnsley as he’s set to join Colchester.

QPR made the surprise decision to let Kpekawa leave Loftus Road last season and the left back joined the Reds on deadline day last summer.

But in his one season at Oakwell, which would appear as if it’ll be his only, Kpekawa couldn’t command a regular first team place at Barnsley and was limited to just a handful of appearances.

In fact Kpekawa, 21, hasn’t featured for Paul Heckingbottom since October.

Having secured the signature of Zeki Fryers, after he left Crystal Palace, he will become the first choice left back and it’s made Kpekawa surplus to requirements, which is set to take him back to Colchester.

Kpekawa had a spell on loan at the Weston Homes Community Stadium during the 2014-15 season and is now set to return to the League Two U’s for another stint.
