Barnsley are looking for their first away win of the season as they travel to play Preston North End at Deepdale.

The hosts are looking for their first home league win of the season after a disappointing start to their second Championship campaign since promotion.

So far North end have suffered home defeats to Derby and Fulham in the league but have managed to overcome Hartlepool and Oldham in the League Cup.

The reds have won three of the last five meetings between the two sides but lost on their last visit to Deepdale on Boxing Day 2014. The most recent meeting ended in a 1 – 1 at Oakwell in March 2015. Jabo Ibehre netting a second half equaliser for the reds.

Barnsley`s deadline day signings will all be itching to be involved but I expect head coach Paul Heckingbottom to name the same team that beat Rotherham 4 – 0 with the new signings having to settle for a place on the bench.

Preston will have deadline day signings Mamick Vermijl, Alex Baptiste and Aiden McGeady pushing for starts.

Jermaine Beckford and Ben Pringle will also be hoping for first team comebacks. Stevie May and Calum Woods remain out.

Reds fans lets have your predictions for this one. I`m going with a 1 – 1 draw and our first away point of the season.
