Barnsley are currently on their worst run of the season in terms of picking up points, with just one point gained from their last four matches. Previously the worst run this season was 2 points from a possible 12 (2 draws Derby and Scunthorpe and defeats to Reading and Cardiff).

Things aren’t that bad however, as the longest winless run under Mark Robins is eleven games, spanning the final ten games of last season and the opening day defeat to QPR this August.

Stephen Foster is in line to make his 150th appearance for Barnsley, with all of them coming as starts.

Mark Robins is looking for his 20th competitive win in charge of Barnsley, his 19th in the league.

Barnsleys biggest ever win at Preston was last seasons 4-1 win. Their biggest loss at Preston was 7-0 in 1951.

Barnsley are looking for their 17th league win over Preston in the 43rd league meeting between the two clubs.
